Our Farm & crops
At the heart of everything we do is the farm. Cornett Enterprises has grown from a traditional Kentucky tobacco and cattle farm into a diversified agricultural operation producing fresh fruits and vegetables, field crops, and livestock across multiple farms in Southeastern Kentucky.
Bell peppers are one of our largest fresh produce crops, with approximately 150 acres in production. They represent roughly 93% of our combined bell pepper and strawberry acreage, making peppers a major focus of our produce program. Our peppers are grown, harvested, packed, cooled, and prepared for shipment through our food-safety and traceability programs to serve wholesale, retail, and foodservice customers.

Each spring, approximately 12 acres of strawberries become one of the most anticipated crops on our farm. While strawberries account for about 7% of our combined strawberry and bell pepper acreage, they are an important part of our direct-to-consumer operation and allow us to connect our community directly with the farm during strawberry season.

Diversification has always been important to the Cornett family. In addition to strawberries and bell peppers, our farm produces crops such as eggplant, tomatoes, cole crops, field corn, and other seasonal produce, along with our livestock operations.
