The Cornett Family


The Cornett family is a multi-generational Kentucky farm family with deep roots in agriculture and a passion for growing food, supporting their community, and building businesses that keep agriculture moving forward. What began as a traditional family farm has grown into a diverse agricultural operation that connects production, logistics, and direct-to-consumer retail.

Today, the family operates three businesses that work together across the agricultural supply chain. Cornett Enterprise* is the farming operation, producing fresh fruits and vegetables along with traditional crops and livestock. Alliance Packing KY supports the logistics side of the operation through cold storage, shipping, receiving, and cross-docking, helping move fresh produce efficiently from farms to customers. Cornett Farm Fresh brings agriculture directly to the community through a local farm market, bakery, deli, and café featuring farm-fresh produce and products from Kentucky farmers and small businesses.

With multiple generations actively involved, the Cornett family combines decades of farming experience with education, technology, food safety, and modern business practices. While the operation continues to grow and evolve, the mission remains rooted in family, agriculture, and community—“Know Your Farmer, Know Your Food.”

Who are the cornett’s?

  • Brent Cornett

    Owner/Operator

    Brent Cornett is a co-owner of Cornett Enterprises and has spent more than 20 years building the family farming operation alongside his wife, Rhonda. A graduate of the University of Kentucky, Brent has deep roots in Kentucky agriculture and oversees farm production and day-to-day field operations. His leadership has helped grow the farm from a traditional tobacco and cattle operation into a diversified agricultural business producing fresh fruits, vegetables, livestock, and field crops. His hands-on experience and commitment to quality continue to drive the Cornett family's mission of connecting people with the farms and farmers behind their food.

  • Rhonda Cornett

    Owner/Operator

    Rhonda Cornett is a co-owner of Cornett Farm Fresh and Cornett Enterprises and has spent more than 20 years helping grow and lead the Cornett family's agricultural businesses. A graduate of the University of Kentucky, Rhonda also holds a master's degree in supervision and brings a strong background in leadership and business management to the operation.

    Throughout her career, Rhonda has received multiple recognitions and accolades from the U.S. Small Business Administration, reflecting her commitment to entrepreneurship, small-business growth, and the local community. Today, she plays an active role in guiding the continued growth of the Cornett businesses while remaining passionate about supporting Kentucky agriculture and connecting customers with locally grown food.

  • Jarrod Cornett

    Farm & Logistics Manager

    Jarrod Cornett grew up in agriculture and has built farming experience of his own through eggplant production and cattle. A University of Kentucky Agricultural Economics graduate, he combines his education with hands-on knowledge of crop production, livestock, and farm operations.

    Jarrod also plays a key role in logistics and transportation, coordinating loads, shipping schedules, and the movement of fresh produce from the farm to customers and distribution points. As part of the next generation of the Cornett family, he is committed to carrying forward the family’s agricultural legacy while continuing to grow his own farming operation.

  • Miranda Cornett

    General Manager

    Miranda Cornett is the General Manager of Cornett Farm Fresh and a University of Kentucky graduate with a degree in Hospitality Management and Tourism. As part of the next generation of the Cornett family, Miranda is helping carry the family’s agricultural legacy forward while bringing new ideas and experiences to Cornett Farm Fresh.

    She plays a key role in daily operations, including employee scheduling, vendor management, team coordination, and customer experience. Miranda is also a farmer herself, raising chickens and growing cut flowers that are sold through the market. Her combination of hospitality, agriculture, and management helps Cornett Farm Fresh continue to grow while staying rooted in family, local agriculture, and community.

  • Katie Cornett

    Director of Operations

    Katie Cornett serves as Director of Operations, helping oversee the business and administrative side of the Cornett family’s agricultural operations. A University of Kentucky graduate with degrees in Agricultural Economics and Agricultural Ecosystem Sciences, Katie is also currently pursuing her MBA, further strengthening her background in business and management.

    She manages key areas including human resources, employee training, food safety and compliance, vendor coordination, business systems, and operational processes. Katie also works closely with Cornett Farm Fresh, supporting marketing, events, and initiatives that connect customers with local agriculture.

Our Extended Farm Family

The Cornett family extends far beyond our last name. Each season, we are fortunate to work alongside 52 team members through the H-2A program who play an essential role in our farming operation.

Many of these men return to our farm year after year, and some have been working alongside our family for more than a decade. Over the years, these relationships have grown into much more than a working partnership. They have become part of our extended farm family, sharing in the long days, changing seasons, challenges, and successes that come with agriculture.

Their experience, dedication, and hard work are an important part of everything we accomplish at Cornett Enterprises. We are incredibly grateful for the people who leave their own families and homes to spend a season working alongside ours.

Our farm would not be what it is today without them, and we are proud to have them as part of the Cornett family.
