Food safety is at the core of our operation. Cornett Enterprises maintains PrimusGFS certification across multiple areas of our fresh produce operation, helping us maintain strong food-safety and traceability standards from the field through packing and distribution.
PrimusGFS Certified Farm
Our farming operations are PrimusGFS certified, with documented food-safety practices covering growing operations, field activities, worker hygiene, agricultural inputs, traceability, and risk management. This certification helps ensure food safety begins long before our produce reaches the packinghouse.
PrimusGFS Certified IPM
Cornett Enterprises utilizes an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) program as part of our approach to responsible crop production. IPM combines regular crop monitoring, pest identification, documented scouting, prevention, and targeted control strategies to manage pest pressures while supporting responsible agricultural practices.
PrimusGFS Certified Harvest Crew
Our harvest operations are PrimusGFS certified, extending our food-safety program directly into the field. Harvest crews follow established procedures for worker hygiene, sanitation, product handling, equipment, harvest documentation, and traceability to help protect the integrity of our produce from the moment it is harvested.

Our packinghouse is PrimusGFS certified, with comprehensive procedures covering sanitation, employee practices, product handling, traceability, pest management, facility controls, and food-safety documentation. These systems allow us to maintain product integrity as fresh produce moves from harvest through packing, cooling, and shipment.
